PROFILE

Statchel Warner was born in Anguilla and raised in the village of South Hill. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Relations, with a minor in Government and a Certificate in Social Services from the University of the West Indies.

Warner worked for the Government of Anguilla as a Welfare Officer and later as an Assistant Permanent Secretary. Mr. Warner has over 20 years experience working in the Supermarket Industry as a Manager. He returned to Anguilla in 2013 to launch Megasavers, Anguilla’s first membership club offering members the lowest prices.

His motto is “Do not join Government unless you truly love your country. If you decide to join, expect to be poor….”

Warner, who contested the 1989 election as a candidate of the Anguilla National Alliance is an Independent Candidate in Road South, District 6.
