General Election Results - 27 February 1989

General elections were held in Anguilla on Monday, 27 February 1989.

The Anguilla National Alliance (ANA) emerged as the largest party, winning three of the seven seats in the House of Assembly.   The Anguilla United Party (AUP) won two seats and the Anguilla Democratic Party (ADP) won one seat.  The Party for Anguilla's Culturation and Economy (PACE) failed to win a seat.

The ANA joined with independent Osbourne Fleming to form a new government.

Voter turnout was 73.2%.

Emile Gumbs continued as Chief Minister.
