Mr. Codrington was born on 10 January, 1958 in the village of Sea View Farm. He attended the Sea View Farm Primary School and the Antigua Grammar School. He obtained GCE passes in Physics, Mathematics, English, Biology and Spanish and, has acquired an advanced level certificate in law from the Cambridge University. He also acquired a Bachelor of Laws (LLB / distance learning) from Holborn College / Woolverhampton University in the United Kingdom. Mr. Codrington currently serves as the local representative for Holborn College.
In his professional life, he worked for 28 years at the Caribbean Relay Station as a senior technician.
He is married to Delora Davis Codrington also of Sea View Farm. They have four children: Chanlah Codrington, 27, Chandora Codrington, 23, Chante Codrington, 21, and Chandera Codrington, 11. He has special interests in sports, including lawn tennis.
Mr. Codrington is a former member of the Optimist Club of Wadadli. He is also involved in the Health for the Children Foundation where he plays in a band every other Saturday at the corner of Redcliffe Street and Corn Alley to raise money for children with terminal illnesses. As an accomplished singer, he is also an active member of the Men's Chorus. |
