Donville Inniss lives
in his St. James South Constituency and is
more than familiar with the problems his constituents discuss
with him everyday. He is very concerned that in a
seemingly affluent society like Barbados the average person
struggles to survive. He repeatedly hears complaints about the
high cost of living and as a result fully understands the
plight of the "working poor". Other problems brought to
his attention are inadequate recreational facilities,
underemployment, deteriorating and expensive health-care, the
plight of the elderly and wastage of public funds. He is
convinced that a more caring government could solve these
problems.
Donville Inniss is a graduate of Harrison's
College, the Community College and the University of the West

all over the world. He has worked in this field for the
past 15 years in places such as South Korea, USA, Canada and
Europe. He believes that Barbadians need an enabling
environment to acquire the special skills required to succeed
in the global marketplace.
