Rodney Nurse
Candidate for Christ Church East

Rodney Fairfax Nurse will make his political debut as candidate for the PEP. Nurse is a small businessman and Pastor who left Barbados in the 1970's to live in the United States and then Canada. He returned to Barbados in April 2007. Nurse, a widower with three children, is a partner in the real estate company, Morgan and Nurse Realties and also does business in the garment industry.

Ricardo Gibson will also face the electorate of Christ Church East. Gibson was born on Feb 23, 1969 in Parish Land where he still resides. He has 2 children. He attended Providence Primary School and Princess Margaret Secondary School. He also studied at Long Island University, New York.

Gibson holds an American license and a Brazilian license to coach football. He is a member of the US Soccer Coaches Academy. He has been a physical Trainer with the Barbados Youth Services since 2006.

Gibson is a volunteer football coach in Silver Sands for the Primer league. He is also a member of the Christ Church Football League and a former coordinator of the premier league and international games with the BFA.
