ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada — Grenada will hold parliamentary elections 19 February 2013.
Prime Minister Tillman Thomas announced the date at a political rally Sunday night a week after the country’s parliament was dissolved. A few hundred partisans attended the gathering.
Thomas’ National Democratic Congress will be pitted against the opposition New National Party led by former Prime Minister Keith Mitchell, and the new National United Front, which launched late in 2012. Continue reading
