Ann David Antoine was born on July 6th, 1949. A Registered General Nurse and Midwife, she was educated at the Crochu Roman Catholic School in St. Andrew, and St. Joseph Convent in St. George.
Her voluntary activities have spanned a number of Organizations including the Board of St. Martin’s Home for the Aged, the Advisory Committee of the Bel-Air Home for Children and Adolescents, the Grenada National Organisation of Women, and as a Justice of the Peace and Lay Magistrate in the UK.
In her professional life, Ann served as a Lecturer in Health Studies at the Uxbridge College in the UK, and subsequently as Executive Director of New Life Organisation. In December of 2003 she was appointed Minister of Health, Social Security, The Environment & Ecclesiastic Relations.
