Stephanie Browne is a politician and former Cabinet Minister in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Career

Browne was appointed a Government Senator from 31 August 1989 to 3 June 1991. In 1991, she contested and won the seat for Southern Grenadines o n a New Democratic Party (NDP) ticket. She served as Parliamentary Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Finance from 16 April 1992 to 17 December 1992; and as Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Health and the Environment from 25 May 1993 to 13 January 1994.

She was appointed a Minister of State in the Ministry of Communications and Works from 21 March 1994 to 16 December 1994; and later as Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office from 26 January 1995 to 18 December 1997. She also had a brief stint as Minister of Health and the Environment from 12 February 1998 to 12 March, 1998.
