Haldene Dottin is a Barbadian banker, politician, and former election candidate.

Early life and education

Haldene Dottin was born on 21 January 1954 in the hamlet of Hopewell, St. Thomas, Barbados. He was educated at Holy Innocents' Primary School and the University of the West Indies.

Career

In 2008, Dottin unsuccesfully contested the St. Thomas seat as a candidate for the Democratic Labour Party (DLP), losing to incumbent Cynthia Forde of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP).

Personal life

Dottin and his wife Gloria have two sons and two daughters. He has been a member of the Lions Club of Barbados since 1994.
