Early life and education
Michael Nathaniel St. Patrick Freeland was born in St. George, Antigua to Sir Adolphus Freeland and Lady Ruth Francis-Freeland.
Michael Freeland attended the Antigua Grammar School and Antigua State Colllege. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Morgan State University.
Career
Freeland was appointed to the Senate following the return of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) to office following the 2014 general election.
On 1 July 2016, Freeland was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Works and Housing.
