Wigley George is a Trade Unionist and former Government Senator in Antigua and Barbuda.
Career
Wigley George unsuccesssfully contested the St. Paul seat as an Independent in the 2009 general election, losing to Eleston Adams of the United Progressive Party.
George is the President of the Antigua Trades and Labour Union (AT&LU).
George was appointed to the Senate following the return of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party to office following the 2014 general election.
His appointment was revoked on 13 September 2016 following spoking out strongly for a second time against government's Statutory Corporations General Provisions Bill.
