Former Attorney General, St. Kitts and Nevis
Jason Hamilton is a lawyer and former Attorney General of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Jason Hamilton practice areas include Criminal Law, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Company Law and Corporate Law. He obtained his law degree from the University of the West Indies and his Legal Education Certificate from Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica.
He also practices extensively before the High Court and Court of Appeal and has been involved in several noteworthy matters.
Hamilton has served as an active member of the community. Notably, he has served the St. Kitts and Nevis Amateur Athletic Association, the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association, on the management team of a popular local band, as the Legal Consultant of the St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee, as an Associate Editor and Legal Advisor of the Labour Spokesman newspaper, Legal Advisor of the National Carnival Committee, as Commissioner, Director, and Chairman of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
Hamilton served as the Attorney General of St. Christopher and Nevis during the period January 2013 through February 2015 in the Denzil Douglas Administration. He was the youngest ever Attorney General in the Federation.
