D. Gisele Arrindell-Isaac is a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Antigua & Barbuda. 

Earrly life and education

Gisele Isaac Arrindell was born in St. John’s, Antigua and educated at Christ the King High School and St. John’s University, New York where she attained a B.Sc., summa cum laude, in Journalism with concentration in Literature and a M.A. in Government & Politics, with a concentration in International  Affairs.

Career

She was appointed Speaker of the House of Representatives, March 2004.  The Hon D. Gisele Isaac Arrindell is also the Executive Director - Board of the Education a post which she has held since January 2001 and a Lecturer at the UWI since September 2002.

Personal life

She is committed to family; women’s issues; the rights of minorities; education, and all things Antiguan.  Her passions include calypso music; reading; and watching Law & Order.  Mrs. Isaac Arrindell is also a commentator on calypso, social and political issues.
