Sir David Emmanuel Jack, GCMG, MBE

Sir David Emmanuel Jack, GCMG, MBE was Governor-General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from 1989-96.

Early life and education

He was born on 16 July 1918 in Victoria Village, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Career

He was a Lay Minister, a Politician and an Accountant, who in his earlier days acted as a Contractor, building modern homes for his extended family. He served as Health Minister from 1986 to 1989.

Sir David was Governor-General of St. Vincent and the Grenadines: 20 September 1989 - 1 June 1996.

Death

Sir David died on 18 July 1998, aged 80.
