Early life

Aurelius Marie was born on 23 February 1904.

Career

Aurelius Marie was a former magistrate.

On 25 February 1980, the House of Assembly then elected Aurelius Marie for the seat of president. Marie took the Oath of Office a day later before Justice Cecil Hewlett. He served as president until 1983.

Death

Aurelius Marie died on 28 September 1995, aged 90.
