Career

Shirley Osborne is the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Montserrat (as of 23 January 2015).

Ms. Osborne is also Executive Director of the Women’s Resource Centre in St Peters.

Personal life

She is the daughter of the late John Osborne, a former Chief Minister of Montserrat. Her brother, David Osborne is also actively involved in politics, winning his first term with the former MCAP Administration in 2009, led by former Premier, Reuben T Meade. He stood in the 2014 elections, this time however under the PDM party banner, emerging once again victorious.
