Calvin Hendren Parker is a former Antiguan and Barbudan Senator.
Career
Parker is a lawyer and former independent Senator in Antigua and Barbuda. The financial consultant was chosen by Governor General Dr Rodney Williams, following the resignation of Sylvia O’Marde last week.
Calvin Parker was employed in the Public Sector for over nine years. He rose to the level of Deputy Financial Secretary with special responsibility for capital development and public sector investment, where he served for three years.
Parker also served on the board of directors of both the Central Marketing Corporation (CMC) and the Agriculture Development Corporation, as the official representative of the Ministry of Finance.
Parker had a brief stint at the Antigua Barbuda Development Bank (ABDB) as chief enterprise development officer.
