Previous, he was Junior Minister in the Ministry of Communications, Works and Public Utilities, Posts, Physical Planning, Natural Resources and Environment  in the Nevis Island Administration with responsibility for Youth Affairs, Gender and Social Affairs, Social Development, Sports Affairs, Community Affairs, Import and Export Control and Licensing Unit.
