Walcott Richardson
Walcott Richardson is an Anguillian politician and former minister and member of the House of Assembly.
Career
In 2005, Richardson unsuccessfuly contested the District 7 West End seat on an Anguilla United movement (AUM) ticket, losing to Albert Hughes of the Anguilla Strategic Alliance (ANSA). In 2010, he won the seat with 46.44% of the votes and was appointed Minister of Labour, Immigration, Lands,
Physical Planning, Human Rights, Environment, Gender Affairs and Agriculture and Fisheries.
On 20 February 2013, Richardson resigned as Minister in the face of an allegation of indecent assault made against him.
Richardson did not seek re-election in the 22 April 2015 election.
