Sir Ernest Stanley Robinson was a former President of the Senate of Barbados.

Career

Sir Ernest Stanley Robinson was President of the first post-Independence Senate of Barbados, serving from 1966 to 1974.

Sir Ernest was appointed to the Legislative Council of Barbados on 4 September 1952 and reappointed on 30 May 1957 for a further period of five years.

Honours and awards

In 1969, he was conferred with honour of knighthood (Knight Bachelor) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
