Dwight Gregory Sutherland is a Barbadian politician and a current Cabinet Minister.

Early life and education

The holder of a raft of professional certifications including an MBA (Master of Business Administration) (with distinction) and an MSc, (Master of Science) Dwight, a former teacher and lecturer, is a mechanical engineer and project manager and is currently Operations Manager at Arawak Cement Plant and a businessman in his own right as well.

Career

Dwight was elected to the Barbados House of Assembly in the 21 February 2013 General Election.

Sutherland retained his seat in the 24 May 2018 election and was appointed Minister of Small Business, Entrepreneurship, and Commerce in the Mia Mottley Administration.

Personal life

Sutherland is married to Juliette, and they have one son.
