Melvin M. Turnbull, Jr is a politician and current Government Backbencher in the British Virgin Islands.

Early life and education

Melvin M. Turnbull, Jr was born on 9 September 1979. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management (Hons) from Florida Memorial College, Miami, Florida (2002). 

Career

Turnbull was first elected to Parliament in 2015 as Member for the Second District for the National Democratic Party (NDP).

He is Vice President/Director of the Hope Foundation (BVI) Ltd. Project Lion Heart Mentorship Program in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. From 2006 to 2013 he was Manager and Financial Consultant, MWM Financial Services Group Limited. He was previously Associate Sales Manager of AIG/American General Life and Accident
Insurance Company in Hollywood, Florida.

Personal life

Turnbull is married and is the father of one child.
