Career
In 1999, Bernard Walker entered the Lester Bird led ALP Cabinet as Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Ministry with special responsibility for Urban Development and Renewal, Information and Broadcasting. From 2001 - 2004, he served as Minister of State in the Ministries of Information, Broadcasting, and Public Works.
