Prime Minister J.M.G.M. 'Tom' Adams announced a reshuffle of his Cabinet. The reshuffle added two new faces, Dr. Donald Blackman and Nigel Barrow, and switches five other ministers.

Prime Minister J.M.G.M. 'Tom' Adams announced his new Cabinet after his Barbados Labour Party (BLP) was returned to office in the 2 September 1976 General Election. The nine-member Cabinet was sworn in on 7 September 1976 by acting Governor-General Sir Wiliam Douglas. the Cabinet included the first women minister, Billie Miller.
