David Brown is a young man who gets things done. As a poultry farmer, accountant, businessman, international lecturer, and agricultural consultant, David's passion to connect with and help people shines through.
Born to Shemine and Fitzroy Browne in Campden Park, David learned how to farm at an early age. He attended Lowman's Leeward primary school, and went on to be selected at one of the top 3 secondary schools in the island: Saint Martin's Secondary School. His public service and dedication to community began at a very young age when he formed the Boys for Christ group which helped young people learn how to serve their community.
After working as a book keeper for CC Construction company, he turned down a very coveted position as head accountant at a resort because he felt the need to return to his roots and explore farming. At just 23 years old, David started Farms Unlimited and began supplying poultry to KFC. Though he was young, his ambition rapidly led him to expand his business.
When he isn't expanding his poultry business, you will find David int he community teaching his neighbors how to build their business, manage finances, and navigate the intricacies of applying for bank loans and grant programs. As you drive around North Leeward, you will find that everyone knows David Browne because he is always trying to help people and connect communities. During a recent hurricane, David organized over 400 villagers to prepare the community for the hurricane and then immediately provide supplies to neighboring villages. |
