Elvis Charles was born in Biabou and lives in Green Hill. He is happily married and the proud father of 2 daughters.
A teacher by profession, Mr. Charles attended Biabou Methodist School. He attended Adelphi Secondary School and later transferred to St. Martins Secondary School in Kingstown. Then, he completed a Certificate in Education in the Social Studies at the Teachers' College, a B.Ed. in Education Administration from UWI Cave Hill and is currently pursuing a Masters in Education Administration.
A former national youth cricketer, Mr. Charles is committed to the development of young people in Central Kingstown.
He has served as a volunteer in multiple community groups including as Vice President of the Central Kingstown Development Organisation. He is committed to bringing jobs and opportunity to our community. Mr. Charles has also worked with the Green Hill Sports and Social Club providing opportunities and recreation for our people. He is currently the President of the PTA at the Lodge Village Government School.
An educator, Mr. Charles has worked in a number of schools with students from across St. Vincent. He has served students at Lowmans Windward Anglican, North Union Secondary, Calliqua Anglican, Lodge Village Government and Bethel High School Campden Park. |
