dot PROFILE

Senator Michelle Fife has deep family routs in South Rivers, Barrouallie, Chateaubelair, Sandy Bay, Lodge Village and Montrose. She currently lives in Cane Garden and has been selected as the ULP candidate in West Kingstown.

She was educated right here in St. Vincent and in top schools around the region. She is a graduate of the SVG Girls High School and the SVG Community College. She received an Honours Degree in Law from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill Campus) and obtained her LEC and Barrister qualification from the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica.

Senator Fife won the 2001 Miss SVG Pageant and took advantage of the scholarship to obtain a first rate education and launched her distinguished career.

Senator Fife is an accomplished attorney and respected across the region. She was called to the bar in two different jurisdictions (SVG and Jamaica) in 2007. Michelle Fife could have moved anywhere in the region to practice law, but, she chose to move back here to St. Vincent because of a deep commitment to improving and developing our country.

Upon returning home, she committed herself to public service. She worked as a Crown Counsel in the Attorney General's chambers for two years. During those two years, she worked to put criminals behind bars in the office of the Director of Public Prosecution. She also worked to ensure that Vincentian entrepreneurs and businesspeople were protected during her tenure as Acting Registrar of Commerce and Intellectual Property.

In January 2010, this exemplary public servant continued her service to our country by accepting an appointment as a Government Senator and Parliamentary Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister. She is the youngest female parliamentary in the country and the youngest female candidate in the coming general election.
Senator Fife is a born again Christian and currently hosts a gospel show every Sunday morning from 6:30-8:30 am on Star Radio.
